Wooden pipes were used in London and elsewhere during the 16th and 17th centuries. The pipes were hollowed-out logs, which were tapered at the end with a small hole in which the water would pass through.[16] The multiple pipes were then sealed together with hot animal fat. They were often used in Montreal and Boston in the 1800s, and built-up wooden tubes were widely used in the USA during the 20th century. These pipes, used in place of corrugated iron or reinforced concrete pipes, were made of sections cut from short lengths of wood. Locking of adjacent rings with hardwood dowel pins produced a flexible structure. About 100,000 feet of these wooden pipes were installed during WW2 in drainage culverts, storm sewers and conduits, under highways and at army camps, naval stations, airfields and ordnance plants. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hokTzqWiBMQ&app=desktop
Help! The toilet won’t stop running. It’s a bummer, sure, but it’s something you don’t need to call your plumber about. In fact, DIYers should take note that it’s a quick fix that will cost you just $5. For instance, your handle might just be sticking, which can be solved by spraying some lubricant where the handle meets the porcelain. Ready to DIY? Here’s how to fix a running toilet.
I had a underground pipe leak between curbside watermeter and riser main. Tony came and make wonderful solution suggestion and with good price. They made the least damage on house front, using all kinds of heavy machinery to cut concrete, lawn and paved new pipe for us. Tony and Enriqui checing up electrical, telephone, gas, telephone line location before digging and cutting. They put out efficient work for us in good manner. I will recommend this company to friends and neighbors.
High-pressure pipe jetting is also known as hydro jetting or high-pressure pipe cleaning, and it uses a high-pressure water stream to clean pipes that are partially or completely blocked. With this approach, a slim hose with a jet nozzle is inserted into the pipe, and used to blast the pipe's interior with pressurized water. High-pressure pipe jetting can clear tough blockages and buildup, and can remove sediment, sludge, and grease from the sides of your pipes.

Sid called ahead and let me know what time he would show up. He arrived on time and quickly determined what needed to be fixed and explained it. He needed to make a few trips out to his truck to grab tools/supplies and put shoe covers on each time he entered the house. He quickly fixed our issue and cleaned up when he was finished. Great service from Sid!

I was very worried about my septic tank. I had no idea when it was last pumped, but knew it had been easily over 10 years. Called A&A at 11am Monday and they sent Jason over at 5pm on the same day. A very large and surprisingly clean-looking truck came and got going. I had the lid already exposed. Jason pulled it up, looked in, and told me the waste level wasn't bad at all. Music to my ears! He was very personable, efficient, clean, and knowledgeable, putting me at ease about the whole process. After pumping out the solids, he went in with a hose and washed out the sides and bottom and showed me the result. I was very impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
